The conference will be useful for those working in secondary education, and statutory or voluntary organisations working with young people 13 to 18 years.
The conference aims to:
?Provide an opportunity for practitioners to share experience and knowledge.
?Inform participants of the SHER programme, and prevention toolkit.
?Experience practical application of SHER toolkit in workshop sessions.
The SHER programme is a two year international pilot in the form of a toolkit, delivered to over 1000 young people 13 to 18 years.?
The aim of the programme is to increase young people?s understanding of what is and what is not a healthy relationship, enabling them to assess their own relationships, and preventing them from becoming perpetrators or victims of domestic violence in the future.
